Position: Assistant Project Manager
Type: 12-month – Direct
Travel: 90% travel – Going to sites for multiple weeks at a time – Nationally
Additional Compensation: Reimbursed for Flight, Hotels, Car rentals, Meals (while traveling) – all expenses are to be approved prior to being reimbursed
Interviews: 1-2 rounds
Qualifications:
- Candidate that can effectively communicate with project stakeholders, and owners
- Must have EPC background
- Minimum 1-3 years of Assistant Project Management Experience
- Must have dealt with at least 1 project from start to completion
- Must be able to coordinate with cross functional teams
- Must have Solar PV, BESS, Wind owners experience
- Solar is a must!
- Project Engineering Experience
- Must have AEP and EPC Utility experience under their belt
- Can have a degree and Engineering, but must have some understanding of engineering behind their belt
Responsibilities:
- Day to Day – Assisting in Managing entire project budget and schedules
- Assisting in planning and scheduling for subcontractors
- Assisting with hiring contractors and assigning to specific tasks
- Assisting with pre-construction tasks
- Coordinating with onsite personnel, engineers
- Daily use of excel and being very organized with it
- Documenting and reporting on daily/weekly basis back to the Snr. PM
- Must be able to travel about 90% of the time to any site within the US
- Problem solving and come up with solution for any issues
