Job Duties:
Interpret and work from electrical and mechanical schematics to ensure proper installation and repairs.
Utilize ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools to test electrical circuits, system performance, and ensure safe, optimal operation.
Apply mechanical skills to assist with the integration and installation of components related to battery storage and energy systems.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical components related to battery and storage systems.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and system performance using relevant software and tools.
Manage time effectively and work independently on job sites, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Ensure all installations and repairs meet high standards of quality and safety.
Experience
Previous experience as a service technician or in a related field is essential.
Proven experience working with computer hardware and low voltage electrical systems.
Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with mechanical systems.
Experience with computer networking and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with schematics and the ability to use them to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
Experience with ohmmeters and voltmeters and the ability to use them to test electrical systems.
Ability to maintain accurate records and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
