Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Project Development to lead and oversee utility-scale renewable energy projects. The perfect candidate will demonstrate a history of successfully developing and overseeing major energy projects, possess strategic expertise in regional project execution, and have substantial experience in team leadership and mentorship. This position demands comprehensive knowledge of the entire project lifecycle, spanning from pre-financing and pre-construction phases to operational stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the planning and execution of significant renewable energy projects, ensuring they achieve their financial, operational, and strategic targets.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for regional project development, contributing to the broader company strategy.
• Manage and mentor a team of up to one project manager, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, and operations, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive the successful transition of projects from development to operation, maintaining a focus on long-term project success.

Required Experience:

• Significant experience in developing large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Strong strategic acumen, with experience in both creating and executing regional strategies.
• Proven leadership skills with a minimum tenure of 2+ years in each previous role, preferably within high-quality organizations.
• Experience in managing significant project budgets and financial oversight.
• Ability to work remotely while leading teams and managing projects across multiple locations.
