Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Director with a strong background in battery energy storage systems to drive strategic sales initiatives across the United States. This role focuses on expanding market reach, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth within the battery energy storage market. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically with battery energy storage solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development: Define and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company’s BESS footprint, meet revenue targets, and increase market share.

Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with utilities, commercial & industrial (C&I) clients, developers, and other potential customers.

Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, providing technical and product guidance to support client success and foster long-term partnerships.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and project management teams to align sales efforts with company goals and ensure client satisfaction.

Sales Forecasting: Track and analyze sales performance, preparing regular reports and sales forecasts for senior management.

Industry Insights: Stay current with market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics within the energy storage sector.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the renewable energy industry, with a strong focus on battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth in a BESS or related renewable energy context.

Technical Knowledge: Understanding of energy storage technologies, applications, and market dynamics; familiarity with project finance and contract structures in the renewable sector is a plus.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.
