Position: Inside Sales Associate

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Reports to: Inside Sales Supervisor

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (some evenings/weekends)

Position Summary

Brooklyn SolarWorks is seeking a motivated and engaging Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic Sales team. In this role, you will serve as the initial point of contact for prospective customers, articulating the benefits of solar energy and scheduling consultations with qualified homeowners. Please note that this is an in-office position.

Your primary objective will be to build strong connections with homeowners and enhance the number of qualified leads for our Outside Sales team. This will involve friendly and informative interactions during phone calls, addressing any queries or concerns expressed by potential customers. Each call is expected to last between 2-4 minutes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high volumes of calls, emails, and texts to qualify leads and coordinate appointments with Solar Consultants.
  • Educate and engage homeowners who have shown interest in solar solutions through various lead sources.
  • Assess homeowner qualifications using BSW’s evaluation criteria and Google Maps.
  • Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments in our CRM and dialer systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries related to Brooklyn SolarWorks and the solar industry.
  • Generate leads and referrals to meet monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Familiarity with solar equipment and installation processes.
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce and Quickbase) and dialer software.
  • An enthusiasm for the mission of Brooklyn SolarWorks.

  • (20-)25/hr plus commission.
