Project Manager, Battery Energy Storage

As a project manager at HiTHIUM you’ll be responsible for overseeing the full BESS project execution cycle which includes developing project plans, managing risk, coordinating team members, allocating resources efficiently and ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Take ownership of a project and manage client expectations
• Ensure project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are in accordance with company policy and contract specifications
• Build and maintain customer and supplier/partner/subcontractor relationships
• Plan and prepare schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines
• Allocate resources to the project efficiently & collaborate with local and international specialist departments in HiTHIUM as necessary
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Develop and implement quality control programs
• Prepare progress reports
• Manage project risk

Competency requirements:

• Experience in project management and key account management
• Strong management and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English
• Effective communication skills
• Problem solving, creative thinking & innovation skills
• Great team player and able to strive in a collaborative environment

Education requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (bachelor’s or master’s degree in the United States or Canada is preferred)
• PMP Certification preferred

Work experience requirements:

• More than 6 years of experience in project management and customer management
• Familiarity with the energy storage or the renewable energy industry is a prerequisite
• Experience with energy storage projects in the Americas is preferred, but not required

Skills, abilities and other requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Project required
• Proficiency in Procore preferred, but not required
• Ability to travel to projects when needed
• This position is remote/hybrid
