PROJECT ENGINEER

We have partnered up with a privately held company that develops, constructs, and operates renewable natural gas (“RNG”) production facilities across the USA.
Actively recruiting for two (2) Project engineer focused on dairy manure-to-RNG facilities design, construction, and commissioning. This role will report to the Sr Engineering Manager, and be responsible for reviewing and approving front end engineering design (FEED) and detailed engineering design documentation for various RNG projects as well as supporting ongoing project efforts during construction and commissioning.
This role will work collaboratively with the Engineering, Construction, and Operations (EC&O) team and the project origination, as well as third party technology providers and EPCs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and respond to requests for information generated during the design and construction phases of the projects
- Review, comment on, and act as client approver for engineering documentation for projects in detailed engineering. This will require review of third-party engineering documentation to ensure alignment with Design and Construction Standards of our client.
- Support the Project Management through completion of project by participating in project meetings, collaborative design reviews, Process Hazard Analysis/ Hazard and Operability Analysis (PHA/HAZOP)
- Review and recommend modifications to Design and Construction Standards
- Provide project engineering updates to internal and external project stakeholders and team members as needed
- Act as point of contact for third party EPCs and technology providers for assigned project(s).
- Support Process Development/Process Engineering efforts
- Support other technical and project initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Industrial, Agricultural, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Min. 5yrs of experience in engineering design or operations support in the agricultural, energy, chemicals or other asset intensive process industry, including: RNG, AD, Biogas or oil and gas facilities
- Two years of capital project design engineering preferred
- Expertise in the use of the MS Office suite, including MS Project
- Willingness to travel to support project effort (10% by project)
**Experience with ProCore highly desirable**
