About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Fulfillment Manager to support our solar technician team by managing the ordering process for parts and components needed for solar farm installations. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments, including procurement, warehouses, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate ordering, invoicing, and delivery of materials. You will be part of a dynamic team involved in proposal creation, quote generation, and order fulfillment.
As the Order Fulfillment Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that technicians have the necessary parts and components for efficient project execution. You will also manage the invoicing process for the parts ordered, ensuring that customers are billed accurately and promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist solar technicians in ordering the necessary parts and components for solar farm installations.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials.
- Work closely with the team to create and manage proposals and provide quotes to customers.
- Process orders through SAP, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory and order status.
- Issue invoices for parts ordered, ensuring they are accurate and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Handle payment processing and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders or payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all orders, invoices, and payments.
- Provide regular updates to the team regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any potential delays.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of necessary parts.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to manage data and create reports as needed.
Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ years of experience in order fulfillment, procurement, or a similar role. Prior experience in the solar industry or with technical parts/components is a plus.

Software Proficiency: Strong experience with SAP for order management and inventory tracking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external customers.

Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills to ensure accurate order processing and invoicing.

Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues related to orders, payments, or inventory discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

Team Player: Able to work collaboratively in a remote team environment, managing multiple tasks with ease and professionalism.
Preferred:
- Experience working in construction/renewable energy sector or with technical/industrial components.
- Familiarity with invoicing and payment processing in a B2B setting.
- Knowledge of supply chain management or logistics processes.
