Job Description

Overview:

We’re seeking a remote sales/business development professional with experience in the C&I solar industry (preference for candidates based in the Northeast US). This role involves working closely with sales, marketing, and internal teams to generate and convert leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Content Development: Help enhance existing products and services for the commercial and industrial market. Create marketing materials and attend trade conferences to promote our offerings.
  • Sales Process Management: Serve as the primary contact for qualified leads, manage the sales cycle from start to finish, organize meetings, and oversee negotiations to close deals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong post-sale communication, address issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project and beyond. Gather referrals and case studies for future use.
  • Team Building: Develop and lead a high-performing sales team, leveraging third-party brokers to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced business degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the solar or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in public speaking and customer engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
