Focused on advancing sustainable energy solutions, they require technical expertise to design, develop, and implement customized energy storage systems. This project aims to enhance reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across diverse energy applications, ensuring top-tier service for their clients while adhering to the highest industry standards.
Overview:
- Lead the technical development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) proposals, ensuring design quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Interpret and integrate client energy needs, usage profiles, and lifecycle expectations into technical design.
- Apply knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards for compliant and cost-effective solutions.
- Support in identifying and adapting to industry-specific regulatory and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospective clients to offer tailored energy solutions that meet unique energy demands.
- Manage customer interactions, addressing technical concerns proactively and reactively.
- Provide documentation and support to facilitate smooth system integration and permitting.
- Ensure all solutions align with established electrical engineering standards and industry codes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in technical or applications engineering within energy storage or renewables.
- In-depth knowledge of battery storage and microgrid design, including various operational schemas.
- Proficiency in reading single-line drawings and understanding equipment specifications.
- Extensive familiarity with codes and standards in battery energy storage, including safety and building regulations.
- Experience in developing proposals for BESS projects.
